Even though the 22 has the layout and ride characteristics of a larger boat, it is still very easy to maneuver and handle. It is also a full 1 foot wider than most 22’ boats which gives passengers more space to move around the cabin and also makes it safer while getting ready for water activities. The 22’ Walker Bay feels and behaves like a bigger boat because of the it’s progressive deck layout that maximizes space and comfort.
The Walker Bay 22 has a helm that is positioned towards the stern which adds several benefits:

The Walker Bay is designed with a wide beam, giving both the driver and passengers plenty of space and comfort—something you’d typically expect from much larger boats. The oversized console not only provides great protection for the driver but also has plenty of room for electronics like a stereo or two 12″chart plotters. Plus, its innovative polyurethane stringer system fuses the hull and deck into a single, solid piece, offering extra strength, positive flotation, and a smoother, more shock-absorbing ride.
Built for Fun and Entertainment
Entertain at your convenience with the optional table that converts the bow area into a social dining space. The table doubles as a sunbed and stows neatly inside the console when not in use. Keep your drinks cold with the insulated cooler in the bow locker. There are also 11 stainless steel beverage holders plus an extra-large one for the Captain. Turn up the volume with four 7″ speakers in the gunwale, positioned above the deck so the sound is that much better. Space for a subwoofer and amplifier in the console to means you can keep the music going while several USB plugs throughout the runabout boat will keep everyone connected. Stay cool with the optional sunshade. Its set up is easy using the flush-mounted rod holders in the bow and attaching it to the wakeboard tower.

The 65 gallon fuel tank offers 10 hours of exploring at 20mph. Offer your passengers shade and a smooth ride to your destination with the optional Bimini top. With the Walker Bay 22 you can enjoy all water sports such as wakeboarding, skiing, tubing, and foiling. The Walker Bay 22 is ready for tow sports thanks to the heavy-duty retractable ski pole and the optional wakeboard tower. With storage in the bow deck locker, keep your water skis or wakeboard tucked away until your next run. Climb aboard using the re-boarding ladder and rinse off with the built in freshwater shower. You can also choose to have six flush-mounted rod holders for all of your fishing expeditions.
Built for Comfort
At the helm, the driver can choose between an extremely roomy and comfortable reclined driving position, an elevated leaning bolster, and a fully upright standing position. There is forward-facing seating for 7 people with comfortable cushions and a full cushion-wrapped gunwale. The deep modified V-hull is designed for a smooth ride and keeping passengers dryer when the water is rough. As an option inside the console, there is a privacy curtain for changing and room for a portable head.
