Walker Bay has just launched a new 10’ 8” RIB with a console that holds five passengers and costs just $14,500 with a 20-hp outboard. And the new Walker Bay Supertender 325 Deluxe Console RIB is a lightweight, coming in at just 259 pounds.
“We feel this is the best lightweight console tender in its class,” says Michael Carroll, Walker Bay’s director of sales and marketing, “in that it offers superior comfort, unmatched luxurious features and exceptional performance for a boat this size.”
The 325 hull has a sharp entry that flattens out aft and a hard chine that grips the water in turns and keeps the motor from cavitating. The wide bow helps to block spray and keep passengers dry.
The dashboard on the console is large enough to hold a 7-inch plotter. The console has extra legroom molded in for comfortable driving, and it includes a cushion top seat with an insulated cooler. The rear seat has an extra-thick cushion, storage underneath and a folding backrest. A locker on the bow holds a 6.6-gallon gas tank.
The new Supertender 325 comes in either German Heytex PVC or ORCA CSM fabric, and costs just $14,500 fully rigged with the engine and accessories. The company recommends a 20-hp outboard, but if you want to go faster the RIB can accommodate a 30-hp motor. For more:
