Walker Bay

Airis Inflatables FAQ

What is the kayak material?

The Walker Bay Airis is composed of U.V. treated, multi-layer PVC fabric.

How do they handle?

Extremely well. Our kayaks follow the “sit on top” style, popularized within the last 20 years. Compared to a sit-in kayak of the same size, our kayaks offer a wider beam and a deeper draft, which translates to greater stability. Our models are also designed with a functional rear skeg, which trims the boat, as well as aids in tracking.

What is the PSI for inflation?

The main chamber and the seat chamber are both 6.5 PSI. We have designed the kayak such that once it is “rigid,” it is at the correct PSI.
